Summary edit
DescriptionWadi Hanifah, behind the DQ (5217630483).jpg |
On the afternoon of 3 May 2010 there was a heavy thunderstorm in Riyadh, which lead to extensive flooding and caused major road chaos for a full day. One week later our family decided to visit Wadi Hanifah and see if there was any sign of the recent rain. Wadi Hanifah is a very extensive wadi system that meanders through some of the western perimeter of Riyadh; we decided to visit the area directly behind the Diplomatic Quarter which had an official opening earlier in 2010 after a major redevelopment and beautification project. |
