This is a high-speed ferry, Condor Vitesse, cruising towards Jersey at 40 knots. St. Peter Port is still seen on the horizon. The power this ferry generates is amazing. To fully appreciate the scale, imagine a bus sitting on the ferry's loading ramp (in the bottom left). Another amazing effect is that it leaves almost no wake as it moves, only foam on the surface.
