Français : Ce tableau réalisé en 1890 par le peintre belge Gustave Walckiers montre le Patio des Demoiselles avec son sol tel qu’il était à l’époque. L’artiste a figuré les galeries de la cour du style arabe en omettant volontairement la galerie de l’étage de style renaissance créé par Charles-Quint après la Reconquista. Le porche d’entrée est typique du style mauresque. Dans le style réaliste qui est le sien, G. Walckiers a voulu reproduire au mieux l’aspect des lieux au moment de la période islamique.
Español: Este cuadro de 1890 del pintor belga Gustave Walckiers muestra el Patios de las Doncellas con su suelo tal y como estaba en ese momento. El artista ha representado las galerías de la corte en estilo árabe, omitiendo deliberadamente la galería de piso de estilo renacentista creado por Carlos V después de la Reconquista. El porche de entrada es típico del estilo morisco. En su propio estilo realista, G. Walckiers quería reproducir mejor la apariencia del lugar en la época del período islámico. |
