| Description |
English: Wanford Bridges (north), Rudgwick. The Haven Road crosses the Arun by two bridges via a small island in the river. I think this route was chosen as it is less liable to flooding than sites on either side on the island which would have only required the building of a single bridge. The north bridge is marked by modern metal railings with 243180 visible (just) as a brick wall in the centre of shot. |
