Deutsch: Über 40 Wissenschaftler entwickeln am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) Bausteine für autonome Roboter. Professor Tamim Asfour fügt die einzelnen Aktivitäten zum großen Ganzen zusammen -- dem Roboter ARMAR. Hier verrät der Elektrotechniker, wieso man für die Entwicklung von Robotern zunächst den Menschen erforschen muss und warum er davon überzeugt ist, dass mit Robotern unsere Lebensqualität entscheidend verbessert werden kann.
Dieser Beitrag ist eine Produktion von InsideScience. Das DFG-Projekt erkundet am KIT neue Formen der Wissenschaftskommunikation im Web 2.0.
