Description
English: Hydro-electric power plant Tharandt, Saxony; since 1926. Two generator sets with a Francis turbine by Voith, Heidenheim (1926) and a synchronous generator by Sachsenwerk Dresden (1926). Each set has a capacity of 1000 kVA. Wasserkraftwerk 4 means the 4th hydro-electric powerplant of the “Kraftwerke Freital AG”; after Klingenberg, Malter and Rabenauer Grund “Rudelt-plant."
Deutsch: Wasserkraftwerk Tharandt, seit 1926. Zwei Maschinensätze mit je einer Francis-Spiralturbine von Voith, Heidenheim (1926) und einem auf drei Phasen umgebauten Synchrongenerator des Sachsenwerks Dresden (1926), Jeder Generator hat eine Leistung von 1000 kVA. Das Kraftwerk trug ursprünglich die Bezeichnung Wasserkraftwerk 4 in Reihenfolge der Inbetriebnahme nach den Wasserkraftwerken Malter, Klingenberg und Rabenauer Grund („Rudelt-Kraftwerk“) der Kraftwerke Freital AG.
