English: Waterlogged path on Matley Heath, approaching the Beaulieu River, New Forest This path across Matley Heath approaches a footbridge across the Beaulieu River from Matley Wood. There is a slight downhill gradient towards the river (in the trees in the distance) and run-off water follows the course of this path which has been worn away and compacted during the dry months of summer and early autumn. |
