Description
English: Wedding tub - par' - for storing clothes. The father-in-law gave such a tub to the future daughter-in-law before the wedding. The tub was hollowed out from a whole linden trunk and richly decorated with carved ornaments. Mid-19th century. Mordva-Erzyans.
Русский: Свадебная кадка - парь - для хранения одежды. Такую кадку свекор дарил будущей невестке перед свадьбой. Кадка выдалбливалась из целого ствола липы и богато украшалась резным орнаментом. Середина XIX века. Мордва-эрзяне.
Эрзянь: Мирьденень лисема парь - одирьвань оршамопелень кирдема тарка. Истямо парь атявтось теель ды казель одирьвантень венчамодо икеле. Паренть лаксельть цела пекшень рунгосто ды керсильть мазылгавтомат. XIX пингень куншкась. Эрзят.
