Exhibits from the Knatterud leir, a German camp and fortification at Varteig by Sarpsborg, on display at Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a local WW2 museum in Rakkestad, Norway.


Norsk bokmål: Tysk militært utstyr fra Knatterud leir i Varteig ved Saråsborg, en tyskerleir under andre verdenskrig i Norge, bygd opp med to store kanoner fra 1944 til freden våren 1945:
  • Stålhjelm (Stahlhelm) med den tyske hærens hakekorsørn (Wehrmacht Reichsadler)
  • Grønn gassmaske i gummi og metall med lerretsremmer bak, celluloidglass til øyne, og en klokkeformet metallbunn med gummifilter.
  • Feltkompass
  • Feltflaske med aluminiumsbeger. Tysk feltflaske med ulltrekk og drikkekopp. Festet med fastnaglet webstropp.
  • Gassmaske-beholder. Sylinderformet metallbeholder med hengslelokk og håndtak. Lokket har fjærbelastet lukkeordning. Riflete mønster rundt beholderen.
