For comparison it also includes the early RN large ironclads of the type that would later be called first class battleships. Français : Évolution de la taille des navires de ligne de premier rang de la Royal Navy de 1630 à 1875. Pour comparaison, ce graphe inclut également les premiers cuirassés ironclad, qui seront plus tard appelés "cuirassés de première classe".
