| Description |
English: Weir on Butts Beck, Barnoldswick just above this small weir are paddles which, although now unuseable, could formerly be adjusted so as to cause the water to back up above the weir which made some of it flow into a leat. This leat, remains of which are still visible, took the water into a dam which existed just east of Gisburn Road, but was filled in many years ago. |
