Deutsch: Weiselzelle der Westlichen Honigbiene (am linken Rand). Weiselzellen, in denen Königinnen heranwachsen, werden oft so am Rand einer Brutwabe angebracht. Sie hängen senkrecht mit der Öffnung nach unten an der Wabe. Hier ist die Zelle noch offen, die Bienen können noch Königinfuttersaft (Gelée royale) in die Zelle bringen. Die Wabe wurde schon mehrmals bebrütet, das Wachs ist dadurch dunkel geworden. Die Wabe befand sich am Rand des Brutnests, die Bienen haben darin Pollen zur Fütterung der Brut gelagert.
