| Description |
English: West Croydon station This station has always had an awkward layout. The unit on the right here is working on the shuttle service to Wimbledon and is standing at a special short bay platform cut out from the main Up platform. When the Wimbledon service ceased for conversion to a tram line, this short bay became disused and the track in it was soon lifted.
West Croydon now awaits a complete rebuilding when a Down side entrance will be provided giving much better interchange with buses and trams. |
