Summary edit

Description West Gate Towers and Museum, St Peter's Street, Canterbury, Kent. Murder hole blocked with glass, in floor of guardroom. The movement of a car can be seen below, where intruders would have been expected to be in 1380 when the Westgate was built. Boiling liquids and heavy objects would have been thrown through the holes onto intruders passing under the archway.
