Loop-frame Tricycle. whose general outline resembles that of a bath chair,two equal-sized wheels running one on each side ofthe rider, with a steering handle, exactly similar tothat of an invalids bath chair, actuating the smallguiding wheel in front. Several variations of this styleof machine were introduced with indifferent success,notably the Centaur, Premier, and Coventry Express,but the machine which made the first sensation in thisdirection was the Salvo, invented by Starley Brothers,of St. Johns Works, Coventry.
