| Description |
English: The Merlion on the left at Marina Bay is the original, while the similar one on the right was designed and erected at Sentosa long after. Both are the symbolic icons of Singapore. My personal choice would be the original at Marina Bay. Reasons: 1. It spouts water. 2. More corporate looking with no fancy lighting. 3. The height is just about right to get a decent shot from ground level. 4. It's surrounded by many historical places and attractions. 5. It's the original piece after all. If you're a tourist better instruct the taxi driver which Merlion you wish to see. Have a nice day my friends. (Both are not HDR. Only minimal adjustments on curves and sharpening.) |
