Station House at Ashford (Surrey) station

Summary edit

Description
English: White Lodge station house adjacent to Ashford (Surrey) railway station. Built to accommodate Prince Albert on his 1857 visit to open the nearby Welsh School (later St David’s School for Girls, now St James School for Senior Boys). The house backs onto the westbound platform of the station. It was partially refurbished in 2015, although the loft extension has remained unfinished for several years now.
