Description
English:
(Re)construction. Former Archduke Joseph Palace. The late Baroque building/palace, which had previously stood here, was remodelled in historicist style by Archduke Joseph of Habsburg,-according plans of Hauszmann's architect office,-in 1904-1905. The building was badly damaged under siege of Budapest. The building was blown up in 1968, and a ruin field was created in its place. - Interesting, here was the place of the medieval (13th-14th century) Jewish quarter - Location: Szent György tér/Saint George Square, Palace area, Castle Quarter neighborhood, I. District of Budapest.

Habsburg József főherceg palotájának újraéptése. A korábban itt állt késő barokk épületet/palotát Habsburg József főherceg,-Hauszmann-iroda tervei alapján,-1904 1905-ben historizáló stílusba átalakítatta. A 2020-as években a palota mellett a reneszánsz istálló és díszkert is visszépül. Az épület helyén volt a középkori zsidó negyed másnéven az első budai zsidó negyed /info helyi tájékoztató/ - Budapest, I. kerület, Várnegyed városrész, Palotanegyed, Dísz tér, Szent György tér.
