Description
Deutsch: Die Nussdorfer Wehranlage an der Grenze zwischen dem 20. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Brigittenau und dem 19. Gemeindebezirk Döbling.
Die Wehranlage wurde von Otto Wagner entworfen und von 1894 bis 1898 errichtet. Sie besteht aus der eigentlichen Wehr, die mehrfach umgebaut wurde, der Schemerlbrücke, dem Verwaltungsgebäude für die „Donau-Regulierungs-Commission“ und dem sogenannten „Kettenmagazin-Gebäude“ (ganz rechts). 2004/2005 wurde ein Kleinkraftwerk mit 12 Matrix-Turbinen in die Wehr eingebaut (das Technikgebäude tw. sichtbar vor dem Verwaltungsgebäude). Ganz rechts eine Fischwanderhilfe, die 2017 eröffnet wurde, und ganz links die Hochtrasse der Klosterneuburger Straße (B14), die von 1981 bis 1983 von der Baufirma H. Rella & Co. errichtet wurde.
