Description
English: Sign at the end of the park road directing campers to Parking Field #1 at Wildwood State Park in Wading River, New York, which also tells them that the park closes at sunset. For the trail that branches off to the southeast, you'll probably need an official map. Believe it or not, if you follow Google Maps (and probably some maps before the early 20th Century), the park road where this was taken is considered part of North Wading River Road which continues between the No Pets sign and Do Not Enter sign, along the northeast side of the parking lot, then down a hill to the beach along Long Island Sound, where another refreshment stand can be found.
