William Alexander Jenyns Boyd was an agricultural journalist, schoolmaster and soldier. Born in Paris in 1842, he was educated in England, Germany, Switzerland, and France. He migrated to Queensland in 1860. He was headmaster at Toowoomba Grammar School from 1888-1890. First editor of the Queensland Agricultural Journal from 1897 until retiring in 1921. |
