Description
English: William Richards (1793–1847) was a missionary and politician in the Kingdom of Hawaii. He established the first church on Maui, but then became an adivsor to draft the first writen constitution of the Kingdom in 1840. In 1842 he became an envoy the Britain and the U.S. to help negotiate treaties.
