„Gruss aus Langenhagen

Dargestellt ist eine "Total-Ansicht" aus der Ferne mit einem Blick über unbebaute Felder, der damals noch neu erbaute Bahnhof, die von Conrad Wilhelm Hase erbaute die Elisabethkirche mit dem mittelalterlichen Wehr- und Glockenturm sowie eine mit Pferdekutschen und Spaziergängern animierte Straße mit einem noch genauer zu präzisierenden Standpunkt, vermutlich auf der Chaussee von Hannover nach Stade, der heutige Walsroder Straße. Der handschriftliche Gruß an

„Meine Liebe!“

war am 20. November 1899 von noch unidentifizierter Hand an die Adresse von Herrn Luis Klug in Rethen gerichtet ...
