English: Windmill House, Edgehead This late 18th century windmill was converted into a house. The latest conversion in 1955 adding an extension built on to the western side.
When operating as a windmill,and before a wood was planted to the north, since it stands on the crest of a hill it would have been exposed to winds from all points of the compass. |
