English: Window view of dead end road to Port It felt a bit strange to be looking out the window and seeing the same view that others who lived in this cottage saw. Its takes some effort to get to Port, but the effort is well worth while.
PS: I was advised on 2009-10-31 that this was the home of James & Margaret McGinley. They had at least three children (Patrick, Annie (also known as Nancy), & Dennis). Annie (Nancy) was born in this house in 1845. An American, Rockwell Kent, documented life in this area in his book "Of Men & Mountains". |
