| Description |
English: Woodland and lake operations The scene is hardly recognisable since my last visit here. The lake has been drained and many trees have been felled. A nearby notice posted by Sir Richard Suttons settled estates, informs that felling of trees in the lake wood and on the lake margin will be taking place, involving the removal of invasive sycamore and horse chestnut. Native species are to be replanted and all works are being carried out with the knowledge and approval of the Forestry Commission, local authority and Natural England. |
