| Description |
English: Work at Mitcham Tram Stop. By late June 2012, Tramlink had doubled the track from just outside Mitcham Junction to Mitcham. As can be seen in this picture, some embankments had been excavated, with the remaining soil held in place by metal piles and timbers. The workman was carrying a piece of mesh, used to protect the pedestrian crossing point, which required a final trim before being bolted in place. |
