English: Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class David Hendra performs routine maintenance on the after-burner heat shield of an F/A-18 Hornet strike fighter in the jet shop aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing 3 are on a scheduled deployment supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and maritime security operations.
