Description The Japanese destroyer Kikuzuki (1926-1942) beached in Purvis Bay, Florida Island, Solomon Islands, in 1944. She had been sunk on 4 May 1942, when USS Yorktown (CV-5) planes raided the Tulagi area, and was salvaged by the U.S. Navy in 1943.
