Summary edit

Description a wrist-guard of the kind worn for skateboarding and balance-boarding. Its hard plastic splint is 6 inches (15 centimeters) long, which enables the forearm and palm to absorb the impact of a fast fall. Only the splint's middle segment (its angled segment, which is white in the photo and which spans the underside of the wrist) is visible because the rest of it stays inside the black pad.
