English: Wullenwebersteg, a pedestrian bridge which crosses the Spree in Berlin, connecting Hansaviertel and Moabit. Built in 1956/57. The name of the bridge commemorates the mayor Jürgen Wullenweber (1492-1537), who was active in the Hanseatic league; nearly all street names in the Hansaviertel (Hanseatic quarter) allude to the fact that Berlin was part of the league during the 14th and 15th century. Deutsch: Wullenwebersteg, eine Fußgängerbrücke über die Spree in Berlin, die das Hansaviertel und Moabit verbindet. Erbaut in den Jahren 1956 und 1957. Der Name soll an den hanseatischen Bürgermeister Jürgen Wullenweber (1492–1537) erinnern; fast alle Straßennamen des Hansaviertels spielen darauf an, dass Berlin im 14. und 15.
