Polski: W centralnym punkcie wsi Kriegerdenkmal poświęcony ofiarom pierwszej wojny światowej wszedł w drugi obieg i posłużył za pomnik tragicznie zmarłego kapitana Aleksieja Aleksandrowicza Karabanowa, awansowanego pośmiertnie do stopnia majora. Mjr Karabanow, dowódca 3 batalionu czołgów 44 brygady pancernej gwardii AR, zginął 30 stycznia 1945 r. w Wysokiej od kuli niemieckiego strzelca wyborowego z pobliskiego panzerwerku nr 775, tuż po brawurowym przełamaniu najbardziej ufortyfikowanej pozycji MRU. Miejsce kultowe, punkt zborny bunkrowców i innych poszukiwaczy przygód.
