This race concluded the racing of this re-markably active yachting year, but previousto this, on September i6, the Seawanhakaclub had a fine fall regatta atOyster Bay, and also a fall eventover the regular club course onSeptember 19. The entries tothe latter event, however, werefew, only two schooners in eachof the two schooner classes, anda single sloop in each of thetwo classes of that rig, showingthat owners had become tired ofracing. The Seawanhaka clubfinally wound up its season by aCorinthian race for all second-class schooners over its NewYork course, and theBrooklyn club had alsoa concluding race overits regular course.
