English: General view from the northeast of archaeological site corresponding to the castle of Valderrábano (Palencia, Spain). Its ruins are buried in the highest part of the town, known as ‘’El Torrejón’’ place. At this point, guess the remains of a medieval fortification. The only visible remains correspond with a mound of 2 meters high, where the remains of the lower layers of boulders of what could be a 10 metres long by wide 8.50 Tower looming scarce. Different height reaching the grain grown in the plot, especially shortly before its harvest, allows clearly follow the path of the walls of the Castle marked in almost all its entirety except the Northwest corner. This phenomenon is due to that than the land of work are still the foundation of the fortress. The difference in the North of the fortress wall cereal growth can be seen in the first term. In the back part of the image, the Church of Santa Cecilia.
