Summary

edit
Description
English: Yew Tree, Church of St Mary the Virgin, Sixpenny Handley A lot of yew trees are found in churchyards and there is no doubt that many were there before the churches were built. Many churches and churchyards once stood in a circle of yews, which were probably a legacy of Druids' sacred groves.
