Description
Deutsch: Zürich : Die Umgebung des Grendeltors im Stadtmodell von Hans Langmack. Die Schifflände im Bereich des oberen Limmatquais ist um 1790 bereitsteilweise aufgeschüttet.
Der Müllerplan (1794) diente dem Architekten Hans Langmark als Grundlage seines detailgetreuen Modells der Stadt Zürich, an dem er 22 Jahre lang arbeitete; 1942 wurde es von der Stadt Zürich erworben. Ausgestellt ist es im Erdgeschoss des Baugeschichtlichen Archivs der Stadt Zürich im Haus «zum Rech» am Neumarkt 4 und ist innerhalb der Öffnungszeiten frei zugänglich.
English: Zürich : Grendeltor at the Limmatquai and surrounding buildings. 'Stadtmodell' by Hans Langmack, based on the so-called 'Müllerplan' (published 1794).
