| Description |
English: Zeal Monachorum: Tuckingmill. The small, ivy-clad, wooden building here appears to have been a farm mill with the remains of a waterwheel and a decaying thrashing machine on site in 1996. Beyond is Tuckingmill Bridge on the river Yeo, a tributary of the Taw. Tucking is the west country term for fulling cloth, and there was probably a tucking or fulling mill serving the local woollen industry here in earlier centuries |
