Zedaka box (donation box) for Keren Ha Yishuv, Zürich, 20th century, in the collection of the Jewish Museum of Switzerland.

| Description |
English: Donation container of the Swiss aid fund for emigration to Israel, made of brown plastic in upright cuboid shape, with coin slot and sliding opening on top. On the front, rounded at the top, adhesive label, printed in dark brown and white with the emblem of the Keren Hajischuw, the motif of the shovel combined with the tablets of the law, inscribed at the top in Hebrew "Keren Hjischuw" and at the bottom "Schweiz. Keren Hajischuw Headquarters". The fund was operated under the auspices of the Orthodox Hasidic and political movement "Agudat Israel" to support Jewish settlement in Palestine. The emblem of Keren Hajishuw was most likely designed in the 1920s by Uriel Birnbaum, who did graphic work for Agudat Israel.

Keren Hajischuw Zentrale". Der Fonds wurde unter der Schirmherrschaft der orthodox-chassidischen und politischen Bewegung „Agudat Israel“ betrieben, um die jüdische Besiedlung Palästinas zu unterstützen. Das Emblem des Keren Hajischuw wurde sehr wahrscheinlichlich in den 1920ern von Uriel Birnbaum entworfen, der Grafikarbeiten für Agudat Israel ausführte.
