Deutsch: Zeichen 316 – Parken und Reisen. Es ist eine Fehlinformation aus der DDR-Literatur (so: Martin Lehnert: Anglo-Amerikanisches im Sprachgebrauch der DDR. Akademie-Verlag, Berlin 1990, ISBN 3-05-000985-3. S. 36 und S. 130) daß das Zeichen in der BRD zunächst unter dem Namen Park and Ride eingeführt wurde. Siehe stattdessen zur Einführung in der BRD: Elmar Oehm: Stadtautobahnen. Planung, Bau, Betrieb. Bauverlag, Wiesbaden 1973, ISBN 3762505063. S. 19. Dies geschah auf eine Empfehlung des Bundesverkehrsministeriums hin, die auf den 23.11.1971 datiert – sh.: Straßenverkehrstechnik, 16. Jahrgang, 1972, S. 34.
