English: It was a floating body, which used the height difference between low and high tide to shut off a dock located behind it (like a floodgate). The construction dates back to 1683. It was destroyed in WW2.
Deutsch: Es handelte sich um einen Schwimmkörper, welcher den Höhenunterschied zwischen Ebbe und Flut nutzte, um ein dahinterliegendes Dock (wie ein Schleusentor) abzusperren. Die Konstruktion stammte aus dem Jahr 1683. Es wurde im WW2 zerstört.
