Description
Nederlands: In 1994 krijgt de Israëlische minister-president Yitzhak Rabin de Nobelprijs voor de Vrede. Maar niet iedereen is onder de indruk van zijn vredesinspanningen tussen Israël en Palestina. De orthodoxe student Yigal Amir vindt dat de Israëlische minister-president te veel inlevert in het onderhandelingsproces. Op 4 november 1995 schiet hij Rabin neer tijdens een vredesmanifestatie in Tel Aviv. De wereld was geschokt. Hoe kon een man van Joodse afkomst een Joods politiek leider vermoorden? Professor Paul Cliteur vertelt in dit college hoe dat precies zit.
