Description
English: Atomic model for a zinc-copper voltaic cell with a sulfuric acid electrolyte. Molecular hydrogen evolves from the copper electrode when a current flows from the cell. The conventional electrical current flows from the copper to the zinc electrode through an external wire or circuit.
