It seems, that the shaft is slightly reddish - especially on its lower part. Hence, I guess that the mushroom on the picture is probably not Amanita pantherina. In my opinion Amanita rubescens is most likely. Regards, C. Stieghorst.
- Hello. For me this is definitely an Amanita rubescens, not an A. pantherina. Apart from the reddish tinges, the scales are like A. rubescens (not white). I will change the identification if there is no objection. Strobilomyces (talk) 20:24, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
