care to share your thinking on the removal of the category ? the image is a comparison of the sizes of 3 meteors including the 2013 Russian meteor. Penyulap 17:58, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is NO factual relation to 2013 Russian meteor event. If you feel your artwork is about this, you should at least declare this - there is a description field for that purpose. Just throwing into a cat is not the way to do make something related. --Itu (talk) 22:33, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I prefer this one at the moment
IT mentions approximate, so I don't think anyone is going to take it as exact. The image is an intermediate piece, it is intended that it would be overlaid with notation in the local languages, so the labelling can convey the information about what it is. There is a similar image upon which it was based, but I've moved past there to make an individual image.
Feel free to add sources to the description, there are many different estimates, most give an approximate range because the meteorite was not spotted until after it entered the atmosphere and no measurements could be taken. The range of estimates is very wide, feel free to let me know if the image does not fall within the range of estimates and I can adjust the size very easy for you.

I always think this little human with a hand up waving is hilarious, because of this image where the dinosaur sneaks up and taps him on the shoulder.. so now I make one but instead of using the hilarious little blue man I use a cosmonaut taking pictures to show the scale. It's better because I can make it public domain as well. Penyulap 23:41, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Comparativa del tamaño estimado del meteoro que se desintegró sobre la ciudad de Cheliábinsk, Gennady Padalka, Cosmonauta de la Federación Rusa. El tamaño aproximado es de 17 metros y 1.8 metros.

Please, declare at the descpriction field what this picture makes related to the 2013 Russian meteor event - at least in your opinion. Not make something related by just depositing in a cat. --Itu (talk) 12:21, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
If this clear example is not enough please ask at the help desk or get a third opinion before you make the image useless by removing the category people use to find this obviously useful image. Penyulap 17:27, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
