Getty Museum's errors edit

The building corner at the extreme right of the photo is recognizable as the E. V. Haughwout Building, on the NE corner of Broome Street and Broadway, which means the view is north from Broome Street toward Spring Street and beyond. On the west side of Broadway, addresses 489 (north corner of Broome Street), 491 and 493 Broadway are out of the frame to the left. The Haughwout Building opened on March 23, 1857, which means the Getty Museum’s dating is slightly off. These facts should probably be indicated in the summary section. Hamblin (talk)
