Nothing in the coat of arms of Rayo Vallecano seems to be copyrightable, the coat of arms included is the one of Vallecano, which is public domain, and the rest is text and simple geometrical shapes.-- Darwin Ahoy! 10:11, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why you say "coat of arms ... of (Rayo) Vallecano... is public domain"?!--. HombreDHojalata.talk 20:26, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I meant Vallecas, the COA depicted on the right. My line of thinking was that since it seems to be OK to photograph flags of municipalities, this could not be considered as a "derivative work", since the only thing that would be eventually copyrightable there would be the COA of Vallecas. If you have doubts on this, please feel free to fill a DR, though it would perhaps be better to seek some advice on it at Commons talk:Licensing before.-- Darwin Ahoy! 22:02, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I started a thread there about this situation, depending on the outcome we can either reinstate your copyvio mark or leave the file with the proper licensing, maybe a DR will not be necessary-- Darwin Ahoy! 22:13, 29 May 2011 (UTC).Reply
I recommend a DR to collect opinions, rather than soliciting opinions in a location that is not clearly linked to the image. For that reason I've started one. Dcoetzee (talk) 00:17, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
