Deaths or cases per capita? edit

Great map - with legend, date and data source clearly stated.

However, the sizes in population differ a lot between regions. Number of cases per million would be more interesting. Number of deaths per million would be more reliable, as Covid-19 test results may not be comparable between regions.Tomastvivlaren (talk) 15:38, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

New color scheme/legend and date on image edit

Including the legend and date directly in the images makes it easier to ensure every wiki which uses the map has the most current information. If we do not include the legend and date in the image, we would have to upload a new image with a new legend if the need arises, probably leaving several pages with an old out of date map. @Didacticdoofus: I agree with the changes but per COM:OW the new version should only be at File:COVID-19 Outbreak Cases in Sweden by Number with Legend.svg. Other language Wikipedias include the old color scheme in the articles so it’s confusing if the image uses a different color scheme (however it makes sense to keep the date in the image since articles sometimes use an outdated date). I will revert this file and replace it with the new version on English Wikipedia and Wikidata, other editors will have to fix the other language Wikipedias. 0x9fff00 (talk) 20:19, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@0x9fff00: Yeah I thought it might have worked since the new legend was included in the map, but I guess not. I'm not too well versed on the specifics in the guidelines. I agree though that at least keeping the date in the image is a reasonable choice. Didacticdoofus (talk) 21:37, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
