What does the image actually show? edit

Edmontosaurus dentary and teeth, lateral view

Two worn rows (lower part of the image) can be seen here.

No Sir, I don’t think so. If these teeth are worn at all, the wear must be postmortal. The actual occlusal surfaces of the tooth battery cannot be seen in the image because it is directed dorsolaterally, i.e. away from the viewer. It occluded with a ventromedially directed surface of the maxillary tooth battery. --Gretarsson (talk) 16:06, 23 November 2015 (UTC) Addendum: The image to the right shows how the occlusal surface of the tooth battery looks like... --Gretarsson (talk) 23:18, 23 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

The description was written by the Flickr user, feel free to correct any such errors on sight. Also, thanks for sorting the Edmontosaurus images, will come in handy once Anatosaurus is resurrected... FunkMonk (talk) 20:14, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
