This map is incorect. Yugoslavia was never part of the Układ Warszawski

Well the map is meant to represent the Iron Curtain, but agreed I'm not sure that Yugoslavia and Albania should be included behind the Iron curtain; certainly they were not Soviet allies. (Albania allied with China around the same time the border really took off.) See for example the map on this page: [1] Could someone perhaps fix it? -- Blorg 11:06, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

BTW: Austria and some other countries were (officially) neutral. Colouring them blue isn't really corresponding to the facts. Man77"..."(de) 13:41, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

What about the (blue) political "island" of West Berlin? In my opinion there was no place on earth where the Iron Curtain (here called "Berlin Wall") could be better be observed - and in this map there is no West Berlin at all. I'm not discussing about the Stalin point of view that West Berlin would be territory of the communist GDR "illegally occupied" by the West Allies, but it has to be stated that in reality West Berlin was "blue" (as sadly e.g. the "illegally occupied" baltic states were in reality "red", if one liked that or not).
