Star Specification edit

The PDF source (ethiopar.net) is unreachable. We must find the full specification for Star --Lin Kuei Warriors (talk) 13:54, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Colours edit

FOTW states:

The colours shall be bright and basic.

This can also be found on this ethiopian site. Is there a reason for keeping the rather dark colours of [1]? --Pumbaa 14:25, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
PS: We should equalize the colours of the similar flags in Category:Flags_of_Ethiopia, too.

I reverted it because vexilla-mundi.com has useless information they make up half the time. The current "dark colours" also appear to be a more accurate representation of those which are actually used [2]. ¦ Reisio 21:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I see. At second thought it's not really the darkness that disturbs me but the tones. A darker green appears alright to me, but it should be pure green without blue components. Maybe something like #009000 ?
The photo you've given shows an interesting aspect: The shade of the star is darker than the yellow stripe. I'm not sure if this is correct. However, I think the yellow stripe should be real yellow, and not some golden tone.
The current red tone is definitely too orange. I found some other photos for comparison. What do you think? How about #f70035 ? --Pumbaa 16:00, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Description in Spanish? edit

The text seems to be a general information about Ethopia. If it is only information about the state but not about the picture, it should be removed. A link to the en-wiki could be added. --MartinThoma (talk) 14:06, 16 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
